The Professional Scrum Master certification is a product of Scrum.org. The open assessments on their website are quite good – just the number of questions is small. Practising with additional tests before sitting for the real exam is highly recommended. The PSM I Exam Simulation is an ideal tool for this. All Scrum questions reflect the latest Scrum Guide (2020).
A pool of more than 100 Scrum test questions!
This PSM I exam simulation test works from a pool of questions:
- Basic questions target the fundamentals of Scrum.
- Intermediate questions target the detailed rules of the Scrum Guide.
- Scenario-based advanced questions also reflect on the Scrum Guide, however, the test taker has to understand the context.
- Expert questions target agile practices not detailed in the Scrum Guide.
Professional Scrum Master I Practice Test

Note: this is a third-party practice test created independently from Scrum.org, the provider of Professional Scrum Master certification. The questions are different from real exam questions, however, similar in nature, difficulty and number. Ideal for exam preparation.
Hi, I found there some misalignment with the last version of the scrum guide.
E.g. What is the size of Scrum Team?
The answer should be “typically 10 or less” – in accordance with the scrum guide, however, the system underlined it as wrong answer and suggested another one: “Ideally 3-9”. I thing either both option can be applied or the correct one should be “typically 10 or less” as stated in the scrum guide.
Another thing that confused me: system says that Sprint cannot be cancelled, however the scrum guide says that Sprint could be cancel if Spring goal became obsolete. So, this is not correct
Good observation, however, the quiz asks: when can the Scrum Master cancel the sprint. To this particular question, the correct answer is “never”. Only the Product Owner can cancel the Sprint.
great test
Seria intersante que lo actualicen con la guia 2020
It is supposed to be based on the latest guide.
I don’t understand why in this case my answer was not the most correct. Indeed, the Sprint Review should be 4 hours maximum for a 1-month sprint. However, regardless of the time of the Sprint, the maximum is always 4 hours.
I believe you had to choose from these:
1. “This is at most a three-hour meeting for one-month Sprints. For shorter Sprints, the event is usually shorter.”
2. “This is at most a four-hour meeting for one-month Sprints. For smaller teams, the event is usually shorter.”
3. “The Sprint Review is a time-boxed event which should not be longer than 4 hours for a one-month Sprint. The time-box does not depend on team size.”
We have multiple statements about the length of the event, the length of the Sprint and the size of the team, each of them matters.
The first answer is wrong since it defines the length of the event improperly.
The second answer is wrong since the length of the event does not depend on team size.
The third answer reflects the Scrum Guide in all aspects, thus this is the correct answer.
